When Rhonda’s not getting into car accidents caused by virtually all the bad drivers of America, she writes humorous novels. They include a cozy mystery, Aunt Two Lips Takes a Powder, a coming of age story The Nose-Picking Boy, and a cross between, “Where the Heart Is” and “Raising Arizona,” The Last Mermaid Queen in Snohomish County. The humorous tone of her screenplays match her novels, including My Sister the Alien and The Sandstones. Five of her seasonal plays have been produced at her local church. Presently, she is writing a sequel to Aunt Two Lips entitled, The Flip Flop Murders and a new novel tentatively entitled, Air Conditioning is Ruining America. When she’s not working or writing, you’ll find her out on her bicycle. An avid cyclist she usually racks up around 3000 miles on her road bike every year.
Rhonda’s Screenplay, The Sandstones just made the Quarter finals of the Family Friendly Script Contest in 2013.
And her Screenplay, My Sister the Alien also made the Quarter finals in 2015.
